Despite Economy, Perfect Painting and Remodeling Celebrates 15th Anniversary

After Brief Hiatus, Chicagoland Entrepreneur Successfully Restarts Painting, Remodeling Business Amid Housing, Construction Industry Slump

CHICAGO (July 8, 2011) — According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 57 percent of new construction firms are no longer in business by the end of their fourth year, and 70 percent have failed by the end of their seventh. At least one Chicago business has bucked the trend, however: Despite the economic downturn’s devastating impact on housing and construction, Perfect Painting and Remodeling of Carpentersville, Ill., is celebrating its 15th anniversary.
